PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

First problem: Carrying out a comprehensive examination and evaluation of the logistical scope and boundaries of our business operations to establish a well-defined and streamlined operational structure.

Solution: After conducting thorough market research and sourcing, our company successfully procured high-quality pretzels from a reputable supplier located on the e-commerce platform Shopee. Initially, it was our intention to limit the geographical scope of our business operations to the University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and the 1 Borneo area, however, after careful consideration, we made the decision to make exceptions for certain customers to expand our reach to other potential markets. This decision was made in an effort to increase the accessibility of our products to a wider consumer base, while maintaining the premium quality of our pretzels.

Second problem: Creating visibility and increasing awareness of our business among the general public by implementing a multifaceted marketing and communication strategy.

Solution: We engaged in building relationships with other businesses in the industry by taking advantage of networking opportunities. Additionally, we utilized the power of social media to inform our personal network, including friends and family, about the existence and offerings of our business. This strategy not only increased visibility and awareness among those close to us but also potentially led to valuable word-of-mouth recommendations and referrals. Furthermore, we actively sought out partnerships and collaborations with other businesses in order to expand our reach and gain access to new customer bases.

Third problem: Designing and developing a website for our business in order to provide an online presence, increase accessibility, and enhance communication with our customers and potential clients.

Solution: We employed well-established and industry-standard web development practices throughout the design and development process of our website to ensure that it was both functional and user-friendly. This included utilizing modern coding languages and frameworks, as well as implementing best practices in regards to website optimization and security. The use of these well-established methodologies ensured that our website was able to meet the needs of our customers and potential clients in an efficient and effective manner.
